Before removal

Take your time

Never rush or peel the strips off your nails. It’s important to be patient and gentle when removing Belrina Nails. Take your time and follow the removal steps carefully. This will help prevent any damage to your natural nails and ensure a smooth, safe removal process.

Step 1:

Lift strips

Apply the Belrina Remover Serum to your cuticles using the Remover Pen. Before the first use, click the button on the pen until the first drops appear (up to 20 clicks). Then, use the corner lifter of the Belrina Multi Tool or the manicure stick to gently loosen and lift a corner of the strip.

Step 2:

Remove strips slowly

Use the soaked tip of the Remover Pen to gently break the adhesive layer between the nail and the strips. Move from side to side, not in the direction of nail growth. Make sure to apply enough serum to the tip to ensure a smooth and easy removal process.

Step 3:

Remove adhesive residue

If any adhesive residue remains on your nail, soak a cotton pad with acetone-free nail polish remover and gently wipe it away.

Step 4 (Optional):

Caring for nails

After removal, wash your hands thoroughly and apply Belrina Cuticle Oil to nourish and condition your nails. Gently massage the oil into your nail plate and cuticles for added hydration and care.

FAQs

Questions & Answers

What ingredients are in the Belrina UV Gel Strips?

The Belrina UV Gel Strips contain: Polyacrylic Acid, Acrylates Copolymer, Glycerine Propoxylate Triacrylate, and Isopropylthioxanthone.

Belrina UV Gel Strips are HEMA-free.

What is the easiest way to remove my manicure?

To remove your Belrina nails gently, take your time. Apply the Belrina Remover Serum to your cuticles, then soak the tip of a wooden stick in the serum. Gently lift the strips from one side. Use the soaked stick to break the adhesive layer between the nail and the strip, working from side to side (not in the direction of nail growth). Re-soak the stick after each step, or drip a little Remover Serum under the strips for easier removal.

I have soft and brittle nails. Can I apply a nail hardener/base coat under the UV strips?

Yes, if you have soft and brittle nails, applying a base coat or nail hardener before your UV treatment is a great idea. Ensure the base coat is fully dry before applying the Belrina UV Gel Strips. In between treatments, keep your nails moisturized with cuticle oil.

You can also treat your nails with a warm, nourishing nail bath (using milk and olive oil) between manicures. Be sure to thoroughly degrease your nails before starting a new manicure.

Can I use another UV lamp instead of the Belrina UV LED lamp?

Yes, you can use a different UV lamp if you already have one. The Belrina UV LED lamp is not necessary for the application, as any UV or LED lamp will work as long as it has the right specifications.

Will Belrina UV Gel Strips damage my nails?

No, Belrina Nails are much gentler than traditional gel manicures at a nail salon. However, it’s important to follow the removal instructions carefully. If your nails are already damaged, it’s essential to properly care for and moisturize them between applications.

Is the Belrina UV lamp harmful?

No, the Belrina UV lamp emits minimal radiation compared to traditional salon lamps or natural sunlight. The 6W UV LED lamp is gentle, and the amount of radiation in a minute under the Belrina UV lamp is far less than the exposure you'd get from the sun. If you're concerned about UV exposure, you can apply sunscreen to your hands as an extra precaution.
